Responsibilities

Job Role: This role is similar to System Integrator/Project Manager with experience in Electronics Hardware and Electrical systems. As an SI, one should be able to understand and drive the design, development, and integration of the electronics, electrical and software (Firmware + Application) components of the product
Ensure project development activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality & performance targets to support the project plans and project execution
Responsible for system level design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and technical decision making for issue resolution within the project/product plan guardrails
System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems, software, and hardware components in products (Appliances preferred) industry. Ensure compatibility, functionality, and reliability
System Testing: Develop and implement comprehensive testing protocols to verify the functionality of integrated systems. Identify and rectify any issues or inconsistencies
Process Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize system integration processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system integration processes, configurations, and testing results. Create user guidelines for system operation and troubleshooting
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and objectives. Collaborate on the design and integration of new features and technologies
Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system integration issues. Develop and implement solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime
Quality Assurance: Ensure that integrated systems meet the highest quality and performance standards. Conduct regular quality checks and audits
Drive closure of DFMEA action plans and updated Occurrence & Detection, based on Concept and Design Validation data and functional performance stacks

Required

7+ years of relevant experience
Experience in Electronics Hardware and Electrical systems
Ability to understand and drive the design, development, and integration of electronics, electrical and software components
Ensure project development activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality & performance targets
Responsible for system level design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and technical decision making for issue resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems, software, and hardware components
Develop and implement comprehensive testing protocols to verify the functionality of integrated systems
Continuously assess and optimize system integration processes
Maintain detailed documentation of system integration processes, configurations, and testing results
Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system integration issues
Ensure that integrated systems meet the highest quality and performance standards
Drive closure of DFMEA action plans and updated Occurrence & Detection
Typically requires 7–15 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 5 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience
Ability to work cross-functionally and globally
System design & system Integration
System Integration capabilities, Critical Systems Thinker
Strong EE background, including EMC Theory and Practice and Electrical Stack-up capability
Exceptional problem solving approach with OPEX certification
Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Preferred

Experience in Appliances industry
Additional language is a plus
