Responsibilities
Lead the design and quality control of wastewater treatment projects, including primary, secondary, and tertiary systems
Provide technical expertise in hydraulic modeling and treatment process simulations
Prepare reports, technical documentation, and client deliverables
Coordinate construction observation services and support project execution
Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering technical growth and career development
Assist in group scheduling, planning, and resource allocation
Collaborate across WEG offices to support multi-disciplinary projects
Support business development efforts with new and existing clients
Manage projects involving lift stations, sanitary sewer flow monitoring, field data collection, modeling, and system rehabilitation design
Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and client expectations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of progressive experience in wastewater treatment and plant design
Expertise in biological nutrient removal, chemical feed systems, and rehabilitation design
Strong client management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kansas, Missouri, or Texas
