The Procurement Clerk will be responsible for processing purchase order acknowledgements, managing vendor communications, and maintaining organization in the procurement process.

Responsibilities
Process purchase order acknowledgements from vendors utilizing multiple systems
Compare expected delivery dates, quantity, units of measure, and pricing
Forward information to PO buyer for further action as needed
Manage multiple email inboxes
Follow up with vendors for acknowledgements not received in a timely manner
Enter tracking information into ERP system
Contact suppliers via phone or email to obtain additional information as needed
Attend procurement meetings for feedback on vendor issues
Attend weekly 5-minute meeting held by Supervisor for department information
Keep work area organized and clean
May occasionally assist buyers
Supervisor may assign special projects
Qualification
Required
Excellent typing skills
Strong knowledge of Windows-based computer operating systems
Strong communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain work quality
Problem solving skills
Able to perform multiple tasks at once
Able to work independently and stay focused
Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
Self-motivated to get assigned work completed
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude with good customer service
