Responsibilities
Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases
Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
Handles investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority
For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims
Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage
Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience handling attorney-represented bodily injury claims
Ability to investigate and confirm the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents
Ability to determine coverage, liability, damages and adjust and negotiate claims within limit of authority
Ability to mentor junior employees
Ability to determine subrogation or fraud potential and handle complex cases
Advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
Ability to handle investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with discretion and independence
Ability to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims
Ability to recognize and identify body parts of a vehicle and understand other potential property damage
Ability to identify customer needs and work to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
Preferred
Experience with Colossus
