Architect - Data Center Networking

Responsibilities
Own and optimize all Oracle hardware operations, including in Data Center’s globally
Lead and automate processes for hardware build, installation, networking, provisioning, and repair (e.g., hard drive replacement) across all clusters
Oversee customer infrastructure onboarding, ensuring efficient initialization for large customers and partners
Monitor, measure, and drive improvements in hardware-related KPIs, with an emphasis on operational efficiency and cost reduction (e.g., dollar-to-megawatt ratio)
Identify opportunities to rethink and modernize established processes, champion automation and workflow optimization
Act as a mentor and technical authority for regional leads, embedding best practices and deep operational insight
Collaborate cross-functionally to establish and refine metrics, streamline interfaces, and ensure scalable, resilient hardware support
Drive innovation and continuous improvement, challenging the status quo while ensuring world-class reliability and scalability
Qualification
Required
Deep operational understanding of hardware infrastructure, including hyperscale and GPU environments
Technical leadership experience in large-scale or distributed organizations
Proven ability to manage and optimize multiple hardware operations simultaneously
Experience driving cost and power efficiency, with demonstrated success influencing metrics such as dollar-to-megawatt ratios
Strong automation skills and familiarity with defining, selecting, and executing data-driven KPIs
Expertise in hardware build, networking, provisioning, component replacement, and cluster management
Preferred
Hands-on programming or scripting experience (Java, Python, or C++)
Familiarity with concepts of data durability, storage, and hyperscale infrastructure
Innovative, entrepreneurial approach to process transformation and automation
Advanced analytics and operations management experience

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
