Advanced Training Institute is a multi-campus education group with trade and vocational schools across Nevada, California, and Texas. They are seeking a Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to assist in creating content and managing social media platforms while learning about digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

Capture and edit short-form videos, Reels, and photos that highlight student life, campus activities, and hands-on training
Write clear, engaging captions that match our tone and message
Plan and schedule posts for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Assist with brainstorming monthly content ideas and campaign themes
Repurpose existing photos and videos for multiple campuses and platforms
Design simple graphics using Canva or Photoshop when needed
Other duties as assigned by the manager
Post and engage across all school social media accounts
Monitor comments, tags, and messages — share feedback with the marketing team
Track engagement (likes, shares, saves, comments) and report basic analytics
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist to identify top-performing content and ads
Assist in organizing and preparing content needed for Meta and TikTok Ads
Help pull basic metrics from Meta Business Suite (impressions, reach, clicks)
Learn how paid campaigns work and support simple setup tasks under supervision
Help tag, label, and organize creative assets for future ad campaigns
Support A/B testing by helping track which creatives perform best
Work closely with the Marketing Director to align content with campaigns and events
Help capture content at graduations, orientations, classroom sessions, and community fairs
Stay on top of social media trends, sounds, and styles that connect with Gen Z audiences
Be open to feedback and creative direction — this role is all about learning, improving, and experimenting with new ideas

Required

Passion for creativity, storytelling, and social media
Keen eye for design, trends, and visual detail
Experience creating Reels or TikToks (personal or professional)
Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok posting tools and trends
Reliable, organized, and able to meet posting deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Eager and willing to learn

Preferred

Experience with Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or Adobe Express (preferred but not required)
Bonus: Familiarity with Meta or TikTok Ads (we'll train you if you're not yet experienced)
