Data Collection Specialist (Research Analyst 2)

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is seeking a Data Collection Specialist to support an HIV health study. In this role, you will conduct essential activities such as recruiting study participants and ensuring accurate data collection to contribute to public health interventions.

Responsibilities

Qualification

Required

A Bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures
Three years' experience as a research assistant comparable to the work of a Research Analyst 1
Two years' experience using computer applications to help gather, compile, analyze, and report information and statistical data

Preferred

Bilingual Spanish/English is highly desired
Experience recruiting participants for a study via mail, telephone, text, and email
Experience maintaining and updating participant databases
Experience scheduling interviews and coordinating language interpreters when needed
Experience conducting confidential interviews
Experience obtaining informed consent from participants
Experience linking participants to medical care or ancillary services as needed
Experience creating, promoting, welcoming, and maintaining a culturally competent and diverse work environment
