Responsibilities
Create and implement a scalable, programmatic, and flexible approach to how the legal team partners with business stakeholders around the world
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams to provide practical, business‑focused legal guidance that empowers teams to move quickly and confidently
Translate big‑picture vision into clear, actionable roadmaps. Track progress and ensure execution aligns with strategic business goals
Develop and refine global contracting frameworks, standardized approval templates, and consistent policies and processes that reduce friction and improve clarity
Remove blockers, simplify complexity, and help teams achieve meaningful outcomes while managing legal risk thoughtfully
Draft, review, negotiate, and simplify a wide range of commercial and technology agreements. Communicate legal concepts clearly and accessibly
Monitor evolving legal trends and risks affecting cloud commerce. Learn, unlearn, adapt — and generously share insights to elevate the entire organization
Qualification
Required
Ten or more years of experience
Deep expertise in commercial agreements, with strong emphasis on technology-focused transactions
Hybrid experience: Time spent both at a law firm and in-house at a technology company
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills with an ability to simplify complexity and influence with clarity
Leadership and problem-solving abilities: You approach challenges proactively and with a business-oriented mindset
Knowledge across key legal domains including intellectual property, cybersecurity, and data privacy
Exceptional communication and relationship-building: You are a trusted advisor to leadership and collaborate confidently across teams
Strategic judgment and adaptability: Balancing business needs with legal risk while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Technical proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and contract lifecycle management systems. Salesforce experience is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Juris Doctor from a top-tier law school
Active membership in good standing with a State Bar
