Responsibilities
Within the event organization you actively take on own event sourcing (sub-) projects, including venues, hotels, and service providers for different event formats
You are responsible for contract negotiations, covering rates, concessions, payment terms, and cancellation policies
Coordinating and maintaining supplier relationships, make you the point of contact for all sourcing-related matters
You handle cost reconciliation and invoice validation for sourced services (hotels, catering, venues, technical suppliers, etc.)
The use of Cvent Sourcing for availability checks, supplier comparisons, etc. should be nothing new to you; Cvent Event Management (invitations, registration, travel management) is a plus
You are able to create and maintain availability and sourcing reports to support event planning, budgeting, and client follow-up
Finally, you travel to our (inter-)national events and provide competent on-site support to our participants
Qualification
Required
A background in event, project, or hospitality management is essential
Experience in planning and executing corporate meetings and conferences (digital, hybrid, live) with a focus in event sourcing, including venues, hotels, and service providers, is required
An analytical, structured, and detail-oriented working style is expected
Proficiency in Cvent, with a clear focus on Cvent Sourcing; broader Cvent Event Management knowledge is an advantage
Solid skills in Excel and Power Point for sourcing analysis, availability overviews, and stakeholder presentations are essential
Excellent verbal and written communication in English is required; additional languages are a plus
You enjoy international travel and welcome new challenges
