Our client, HPTech Inc., is seeking an Application DBA who will work with application developers to efficiently store and retrieve business objects and other data in databases such as PostGreSQL and MongoDB.

Responsibilities
Working with application developers to store/retrieve their business objects and other data efficiently in databases (PostGreSQL and MongoDB)
Creating table structures that map nicely to business classes and ensuring that queries to store and retrieve that data are quick and reliable
Familiarity with creating stored procedures using languages such as TSQL
Monitoring and optimizing indexes and queries as database loads change over time
Helping developers troubleshoot application issues with data components
Analyzing legacy application data stores and planning out and executing migrations of that data from the existing SQL Server on-premise storage to cloud-based databases
Assisting in migrating data to data storage on Google cloud for use in analytical reporting
Helping with various needs on the existing SQL Server based infrastructure until fully migrated away from that
Qualification
Required
DBA
PostGreSQL
MongoDB
Expert in creating table structures that map nicely to business classes
Ability to create stored procedures using languages such as TSQL
