Global Brand & Sports Marketing Manager
O'Neill is a global brand focusing on surf and snow sports, and they are seeking a Global Brand & Sports Marketing Manager. This role involves shaping the brand's global presence through digital storytelling and athlete-driven marketing, while managing relationships with athletes and coordinating global campaigns.

Responsibilities
Lead social and digital storytelling with a strong editorial point of view and cultural awareness
Bring digital-first thinking to campaign concepts, production, and roll-out
Build and manage content calendars aligned with brand priorities, athlete activity, and key seasonal moments
Collaborate with internal creative teams and external creators, freelancers, and agencies to deliver high-quality content
Ensure all content is consistent, on-brand, and optimized for platform-specific formats and best practices
Maintain and evolve the global marketing calendar across regions, categories, and partners
Manage and distribute campaign assets to regional marketing teams and licensees
Align closely with key global marketing and product initiatives, particularly across the US and Europe
Support the onboarding of new licensees and marketing team members on brand guidelines, content strategies, and calendars
Manage the global media library and the internal marketing newsletter
Manage a global roster of surf and snow athletes, including contracts, communication, deliverables, and relationship-building
Work directly with athletes on content planning, brand alignment, and execution
Identify emerging talent aligned with O’Neill’s brand values and direction
Support athlete shoots, events, and trips as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field and at least 5 years' experience in a similar role; experience in sports, lifestyle, or fashion is an advantage
Strong project management and organizational skills
Content-first and digitally fluent, with deep understanding of storytelling, cultural relevance, and platform-native formats
Knowledge of modern content ecosystems, including short- and long-form video, creator-led storytelling, and social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta), with an understanding of content performance and paid amplification
Comfortable in a fast-paced, international environment across time zones and tight deadlines
Collaborative, practical, and confident under pressure
Genuine interest in surf and snow sports, with experience working with athletes or talent
Excellent verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
Curious, ambitious, and creatively driven
Preferred
Video editing and Photoshop skills are a plus
