Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate capacity building project activities, approximately 20 meetings, workshops, and conferences, including scheduling, travel, and logistical arrangements
Organize and coordinate academic exchanges, including travel and visa arrangements for visiting scholars and interns. Support the preparation of consultant contracts and scholarship agreements
Manage project expenses in accordance with established budget. Monitor budget expenditures and maintain accurate financial and administrative records
Serve as the primary contact for communication with project partners, participants, and consultants. Liaise with Harvard Library staff, faculty affiliates, and IT collaborators on digitization and metadata initiatives
General project support: maintain project calendars and track deliverables, deadlines, and milestones; assist in preparing reports for Harvard and consortium partners; provide general administrative support to the project team as needed

Required

Three or more years of related experience. Education beyond high school may count towards experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with both PC and Mac systems
Working knowledge of Russian and knowledge of the broader Eurasian region, highly desired
