Founding Technical Recruiter
Responsibilities
Own the full recruiting lifecycle for technical and engineering roles, including sourcing, outreach, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates
Build and manage recruiting systems, pipelines, and metrics from scratch to ensure data-driven hiring decisions
Partner directly with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and develop effective hiring strategies
Act as a credible, persuasive advocate for the company to top technical talent in a competitive market
Continuously improve candidate experience, speed, and quality through experimentation and process optimisation
Expand recruiting impact beyond engineering to other critical functions as the company grows
Qualification
Required
Technical recruiting experience, ideally full-cycle recruiting for engineering or technical roles (flexible for exceptional operators)
Proven ability to source, engage, and close top technical talent in competitive markets
Strong technical literacy; able to understand and discuss engineering roles credibly
Experience building recruiting processes, pipelines, and metrics from scratch
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and sell opportunities to candidates
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
Experience partnering with founders or senior leadership to define hiring strategy
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any field
