Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end air export operations (A–Z) from booking through final departure
Coordinate shipments with airlines, overseas agents, trucking providers, and warehouses
Prepare and review export documentation including AWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and AES filings
Ensure compliance with TSA, IATA, and export regulations
Provide proactive shipment tracking and timely updates to customers
Manage deadlines, cut-offs, and last-minute changes efficiently
Resolve operational issues and exceptions as they arise
Maintain accurate data entry within the operating system
Qualification
Required
3 + years of experience in air export operations within a freight forwarding environment
Strong understanding of air export documentation and compliance procedures
Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced ORD hub environment
Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
Preferred
Experience working with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding systems
