Responsibilities

Lead an experimental evaluation effort of a novel optical analytical system
Perform a large number of experiments
Organize and process large volumes of imaging data
Digest the data and propose new avenues of exploration and system improvements based on the results

Qualification

Optical testingFluorescence analysisData analysis automationPython programmingTeamworkCommunication skills

Required

MS or PhD in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in optical systems evaluation
Background in optical testing and systems, with emphasis on fluorescence and biological fluorescence analysis
Ability to perform a large number of experiments and organize and process large volumes of imaging data
Strong team work and communication skills
Presence in Wilmington due to the hands-on in-the-lab nature of the position

Preferred

Experience with python programming and automation of data analysis
