Financial and Administrative Analyst
The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is a leading university dedicated to promoting health worldwide. The Financial and Administrative Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day financial and administrative management for the School of Dentistry, including reporting, processing purchase orders, and managing communications with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Monthly, quarterly, and annual production reporting
Submitting purchase orders through the School’s Bearbuy system
Processing reimbursements for students, faculty, and staff
Administering the reconciliation and records management process for the department
Preparing invoices
Reviewing department deficit reports
Reviewing the general ledger
Submitting journal transfers
Pulling data for profit and loss statements
Scheduling meetings
Drafting meeting agenda
Drafting meeting minutes
Emailing important office communications to faculty and staff
Assisting with organizing events
Working effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, UCSF central offices, and outside vendors to ensure compliance with UC financial procedures and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
1-3 years of related experience
Working knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems
Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making
Ability to function effectively as a member of a team
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Preferred
Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources
Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff
