Responsibilities

Participates in decision-making, policy determination, and planning and operations of the hospital
Responsible for the management of all nursing practices
Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to delivering nursing care and strategies for examining and applying relevant concepts and current leadership, management, and performance improvement concepts
Ability to participate in developing and implementing strategies to address opportunities for improving nursing care

Required

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse Licensure in good standing, in the state of Louisiana
Demonstrated leadership and management ability with a minimum of three to five years experience in nursing administration
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Basic computer knowledge
