Responsibilities

Performs routine to moderately complex professional-level and complex and specialized technical duties in the analysis, evaluation, design, development, programming, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of a variety of information technology systems and programs for OC San
Troubleshoots, analyzes, and resolves routine to moderately complex system, network hardware and software, voice and data system, and application problems
Designs and maintains databases
Works with staff in determining system requirements, resolving system problems, and assisting end users in solving complex business problems
Receives and documents all IT service requests and incidents submitted to the IT Service Desk and provides support for our customers
Develops, plans, and coordinates any activity or deployments that could affect the Service Desk
Based on best practices, defines and documents processes and procedures for the Service Desk and Board Support team
Creates and maintains a knowledgebase of documents for end users and Service Desk staff
Supports operating system, audio/visual equipment, and 3rd-party patch deployments
Reviews and resolves service requests and prioritizes requests, as necessary
Provides technical support to incident tickets and provides status updates and resolutions
Serves as a technical resource on assigned projects
Provides technical support, expertise, training to end users, and performs related work as required

Required

Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, with major coursework in computer science, information systems, or a related field
One (1) year of work experience in information systems or network programming and analysis
Valid California Class C Driver's License

Preferred

Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Intune, Audio-Visual equipment, IT Service Management software (ServiceNow), ITIL principles and practices, project management, business analysis, and delivering exceptional customer service
Strong operational knowledge of service desk functions with the ability to create detailed reports. Preferred certifications include ITIL, HDI, Microsoft, PMI, and CompTIA A+
Good communicator who works well within a team environment
Experience with setting up and providing technical support for live events and board meetings
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Experience delivering technical support in person, on the phone, and via email, including accurately documenting issues and resolutions, providing remote assistance, and escalating unresolved cases to the appropriate support level
