Responsibilities
Provide legal support for internal corporate matters, including entity maintenance, compliance, and governance
Conduct legal due diligence for potential investments, focusing on AI and consumer sectors
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including investment agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts
Collaborate with investment teams to identify and mitigate legal risks in transactions
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations in California and at the federal level
Support ad-hoc legal projects and provide general legal advice to internal stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active member of the California State Bar in good standing
2+ years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law, investment due diligence, or a related field
Familiarity with California corporate and contract law is essential
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required to support cross-border communications and documentation
Must have valid authorization to work in the United States
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience in investment due diligence is highly preferred
