Responsibilities
Hands‑on experience working in a live, production Data Center environment
Ability to pull, terminate, and test Cat6A cabling
Understanding MMR - cross connects - Network Cages - cabinets - switches (trunking)
Experience with surveying, patching, labeling, and documentation
The ability and willingness to handle labor intensive work, ie. moving cabinet using plywood to protect environment
Rack‑and‑stack of network and server hardware
Trunking
Fluke testing and certification
Ability to perform labor‑intensive tasks, including safely moving 2,000‑lb cabinets with proper equipment
Familiarity with Fluke testing and trunking systems
Work inside a state‑of‑the‑art, 200,000 sq. ft. Data Center, considered one of the most critical facilities on the East Coast for a major financial institution
Qualification
Required
