Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding member service that builds trust and long‑lasting relationships
Answer general inquiries and complete account maintenance through phone and email channels
Meet and exceed key performance metrics while maintaining high‑quality service standards
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve member concerns promptly—leveraging mentorship from supervisors and leads
Take full ownership of member issues, set clear expectations, and provide timely follow‑up and resolution
Identify opportunities to educate members about credit union products, promotions, and services—generating referrals that deepen engagement
Stay up to date with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Support team success and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals

Required

1+ year of customer service experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work in a dynamic environment
A proactive problem solver who approaches tasks with urgency and care
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Member-focused mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
Comfortable using online systems and modern technology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with call-center tools a plus
Creativity and critical thinking when resolving complex member concerns (within policy)
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in every interaction
Ability to analyze information and recommend realistic operational improvements
Education: High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred
