Senior LevelAshtead Technology has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Tooling Technician to join our team in Houston. The role involves ensuring equipment is customer-ready by preparing, testing, calibrating, and packaging tooling before it leaves the facility.

Responsibilities
Inspecting, testing, repairing, and preparing ROV tooling and rental equipment to ensure it’s fully operational and ready for deployment
Supporting the commissioning, development, and manufacture of new and innovative ROV tooling solutions
Managing work orders, within Ashtead’s ERP system
Ensuring all rental equipment is clearly labelled, correctly identified, complete with spares, and packaged to meet transport and mobilisation requirements
Maintaining accurate technical documentation, including manuals, checklists, spare kits, and testing procedures
Providing hands-on technical support to customers, including fault reporting for missing or damaged equipment
Assisting with mobilisations, site interface testing, and offshore support when required
Qualification
Required
Demonstrable experience in a technician role undertaking repair, maintenance, integration, and testing of ROV Tooling equipment, preferably in a subsea environment
Extensive knowledge of ROV Tooling, Torque Tools, Valve Packs, Cutters, LAOT'S, IHPU'S
A qualification in Mechanical Engineering / other technical discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
Solid understanding of hydraulics/electrics, ability to read schematics including fault finding
Ability to read and implement engineering drawings
