Responsibilities
Design, develop, and ship cloud‑native, microservices‑based applications that scale horizontally and handle dynamic workloads
Build and maintain containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring consistent deployments across environments
Architect and implement high‑availability, fault‑tolerant systems with strong observability and fast recovery
Collaborate closely with product, security, and platform teams to deliver features from concept to production
Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing as part of a strong DevOps culture
Champion API‑first design, creating clean, well‑documented REST and GraphQL APIs
Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and enhance observability
Apply agile development practices, iterating quickly while maintaining high engineering standards
Mentor teammates and contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision‑making
Qualification
Required
6+ years of professional software development experience building and deploying production systems
(or 5+ years with equivalent hands‑on experience in lieu of a degree)
Strong experience building cloud‑native applications on AWS (or Azure/GCP)
Full‑stack development experience, including: Frontend: React (required), Backend: One or more of Python, C#, Java, PHP, or Rust
Hands‑on experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes
Experience designing and working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
Strong communication skills and comfort working on a cross‑functional team
Preferred
Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Exposure to real‑time data processing or high‑volume data synchronization
Experience integrating AI or machine learning models into production software
Familiarity with enterprise design patterns (12‑Factor Apps, service mesh, API gateways, serverless)
Any exposure to imaging systems or integrations (e.g., medical or diagnostic imaging tools)
