10+ years expCognify Global is seeking an Industrial Control Systems Manager responsible for managing technical operations and leading employees within a business unit. This role includes oversight of day-to-day operations, technical decision-making, project delivery, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
Accountable for the development, productivity, and direction of team members, including project assignments and workflow coordination with project managers
Assist with department utilization and resource planning
Ensure technical quality of work, adherence to budgets and schedules, and delivery of scope and project deliverables
Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and communication of company initiatives and procedures
Lead or participate in department and project meetings
Support business development efforts as required
Assist with cost estimating and proposal development
PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA system programming and configuration
Design, configuration, integration, and implementation of automated equipment
Develop software and hardware design specifications
Design, write, test, and document PLC and HMI software
Create control narratives, logic diagrams, cause & effect diagrams, and network diagrams
Develop and execute control system validation and testing protocols
Troubleshoot, test, and commission control systems on site
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
10+ years of progressive experience designing and programming PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
Ability to obtain a TWIC card
Ability to partner effectively with project managers, clients, vendors, and third parties
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong focus on safety culture and adherence to company safety protocols
Strong organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills
Preferred
PE License preferred; Texas PE (Control Systems) a plus
Prior technical leadership experience on control systems projects preferred
Experience managing projects involving Ignition SCADA desired
Experience designing control panels
Experience with startup and commissioning of automated equipment
Experience with industrial instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, flow meters)
Experience with control system and PC networking technologies
