Analyzes, abstracts, and codes patient demographic and cancer related information, treatment, and staging from multiple databases on all eligible cancer cases seen and/or diagnosed at AHS
Complies with standards of the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, SEER, AJCC and the New Jersey State Cancer Registry
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current/valid Oncology Data Specialist credential and be in good standing with the National Cancer Registrars Association
Preferred
Associates or bachelor's degree in Cancer Registry Management, Medical Science or related field
1 year of experience in Cancer Registry
Experience working in a customer service environment or relevant area
