Responsibilities
Produce design and construction documentation for projects
Coordinate with project teams to ensure design intent is translated into construction documents
Support construction administration, including site visits, resolving technical issues, and maintaining quality control during construction
Coordinate and Direct consultants, specification writers to achieve overall project objectives
Collaborate with Contractors and Regulatory Agencies /3rd party teams
Use hand sketches, Revit, and 3D software to communicate design concepts
Qualification
Required
3-8 years of related professional experience
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
Knowledge of California building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications and construction techniques
Knowledge of sustainable design strategies; experience with net zero projects is a plus
Experience in construction document preparation and field observation
Strong leadership, organizational, verbal and written communication, and relationship management skills
Strong Revit skills required; and experience in AutoCad, Adobe CS, and other 3D modeling software a plus
Preferred
Experience in leading healthcare/workspace projects is a plus
On the path to licensure preferred
