Responsibilities
Partner with team to understand, create, and modify applications using programming languages/tools such as Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Javascript/Typescript, HTML/CSS, UI/UX and Linux
Design, develop, evaluate, and test system/software integration
Interpret, assess, and support maintenance of requirements and develop software designs
Ability to design and implement within a team environment with minimal direction
Communicate regularly with functional team leads to ensure effective work partnerships
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of Software Development/Integration experience
BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology field
Experience with scripting languages
Solid command of object-oriented software development
Experience with development in Linux-based environments
Experience with Git/GitLab version control
Experience with Containers and Kubernetes
Strong problem solving, application testing, and debugging capabilities
Working knowledge of basic networking and network protocols
Familiar with agile and/or traditional software development life cycle (SDLC) approaches
Effective written and verbal skills
Able to work and thrive in both individual and team-based development environments
Active Department of Defense security clearance required
