Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently transporting goods
Adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations
Maintaining accurate documentation, such as logs and delivery records
Vehicle inspection and maintenance
Route planning to ensure timely deliveries
Upholding excellent customer service
Managing schedules effectively
Communicating with dispatch for any changes or updates regarding shipments
Qualification
Required
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a clean driving record
Proven experience in operating large commercial vehicles and familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)
Effective time management, organization, and communication skills
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and an ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting
Possession of insurance and necessary operating permits as required
Customer service skills to ensure professional and courteous interactions
Capacity for working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on scheduling needs
Knowledge with Refrigerated Freight a must
Reefer trailer owned or rented. Will discuss upon hire!
