Responsibilities
Place patient meal orders accurately using the bedside meal program
Print tray tickets and ensure accuracy based on patient diet orders
Assemble meal trays on the tray line and load trays onto holding carts
Deliver meal trays to patient rooms within established timeframes
Pick up dirty trays from patient units and return them to the dish room
Ensure patients are aware of and understand the bedside meal program
Clean and organize carts and tray delivery equipment
Maintain and restock floor pantries as needed
Interact professionally and compassionately with patients, nurses, unit secretaries, and patient family members
Navigate hospital units efficiently to ensure timely meal service
Qualification
Required
Ability to place patient meal orders accurately using the bedside meal program
Ability to print tray tickets and ensure accuracy based on patient diet orders
