Responsibilities
Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information
Overhauling and refurbishing of parts and equipment
Work cross functionally with teams in the organization to identify and systematically solve problems
Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades
Develop documented training material and support in upskilling the operations team
Support in refining the equipment maintenance strategies through quality problem solving and implementation of best practice maintenance techniques
Deliver performance and improvement initiatives against agreed maintenance and operations KPI’s
Qualification
Required
Apprentice trained electrical/mechanical engineer
C&G/NVQ3 in electrical/mechanical engineering
At least 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering
Excellent working knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment - Warehousing / distribution / logistics / process / production lines
Ability to work in a 3 shift rotation pattern
Computer literate in MS office package, ability to use a CMMS system
Preferred
