Patient Service Representative

Responsibilities

Answer 60–80 inbound calls per day from patients, vendors, insurance companies, and medical facilities
Deliver excellent customer service by properly greeting, listening, assisting, directing, and closing each call
Reschedule patient appointments via phone, SMS, or messages received through the Patient Portal
Screen and route patient calls to appropriate departments while ensuring accurate registration and appointment scheduling in the EMR system
Take clear and accurate messages on behalf of patients using internal communication templates
Respond to patient inquiries by editing, canceling, and rescheduling appointments according to clinic protocols
Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships within the department and with other departments to support patient care
Demonstrate understanding of SY Health programs and services
Meet department productivity and quality assurance standards
Perform other related duties as assigned

Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
Language Requirement: Vietnamese
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in customer service, call center, or a healthcare-related setting
Communication: English fluency in both spoken and written communication
Phone Skills: Exceptional phone etiquette
Typing: Ability to type at least 35 WPM with 90% accuracy
Training Schedule: Must match trainer's schedule during onboarding (historically 8:00/8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), then transition to a 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM schedule
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
