Responsibilities
Architect & Build: Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions aligned with business needs
Technical Leadership: Serve as a go‑to technical expert, setting engineering best practices and mentoring junior engineers
Code Quality: Lead code reviews to ensure reliability, maintainability, and adherence to modern development standards
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into robust solutions
Testing & Performance: Write unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system performance and stability
Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering architecture, design decisions, and workflows
Innovation: Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively recommend improvements to tooling, frameworks, and processes
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on data‑driven systems
Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals and data engineering principles
Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, C#, or JavaScript
Experience designing and building scalable, maintainable systems in cloud‑based environments
Working knowledge of AWS services such as IAM, Lambda, Step Functions, EKS, API Gateway, and S3 (depth in all services not required)
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and version control systems (Git)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
