Training & Capacity Building Coordinator

Missouri Community Action Network (Missouri CAN) is the statewide association representing Missouri's 19 Community Action Agencies and their efforts to address poverty. The Training and Capacity Building Coordinator is responsible for designing and facilitating training opportunities for Community Action Agencies, managing grants, and providing technical assistance on poverty prevention topics.

Responsibilities

Designing, coordinating, and facilitating training opportunities for Missouri’s Community Action Agencies and the Community Action Poverty Simulation
Managing grants for training-related activities
Personally training and providing technical assistance on poverty prevention topics, experiential learning, and best practices

Qualification

Required

Proficiency in Training Coordination and managing training programs
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
Expertise in conducting and facilitating Training and Employee Training sessions
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively under deadlines

Preferred

Experience in Community Action is a plus
Experience in Training & Development across diverse audiences
Familiarity with workforce development and nonprofit organizations is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Training and Development, or a related field preferred
