Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Research and apply complex tax issues, ensuring compliance with current regulations
Manage multiple client engagements from start to finish, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
Mentor and guide junior staff, providing training and review of their work
Communicate effectively with clients, providing insights and recommendations on tax planning opportunities
Stay current on tax law updates and professional standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3-5 years of public accounting experience, with exposure to individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office suite
Preferred
CPA license preferred; candidates working toward CPA eligibility considered
