Responsibilities
Design and implement new virtualization related features for Azure, Windows, and Hyper-V
Lead initiatives that help define the next generation of virtualization
Collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers
Learn and share ideas continuously
Drive for quality in everything you do and continuously improve the quality of the systems on which you work
Provide technical input across the Azure and Windows teams

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, or Rust OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, or Rust OR equivalent experience
4+ year experience with hypervisors, low-level CPU and memory virtualization, schedulers, devices/accelerators, device assignment, protocols such as NVMe, accelerated networking, or GPUs
