Director/ExecutiveSouth Bay Union School District is seeking an Executive Director, Human Resources & Organizational Development to serve as the Chief Human Resources Officer. This role involves providing leadership in human resources processes, staff development, and organizational culture while ensuring compliance with educational policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
Providing leadership and accurate, legally compliant, and timely information to the Board, District Superintendent, staff, and public regarding hiring, evaluating, and dismissal processes of employees
Bargaining and negotiating
Implementation of Education Code, District policies, and procedures related to employees
Serving as the hub for both individual staff development and overall organizational development processes
Providing leadership and/or support in a variety of administrative functions
Qualification
Required
Leadership experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development
Knowledge of hiring, evaluating, and dismissal processes of employees
Experience in bargaining and negotiating
Understanding of Education Code, District policies, and procedures related to employees
Ability to provide accurate, legally compliant, and timely information to the Board, District Superintendent, staff, and public
Experience in individual staff development and overall organizational development processes
Ability to foster a professional culture within the District
Administrative function leadership and support experience
