Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Java and Vert.X
Write clean, efficient, and testable code across multiple languages including Python where needed
Implement API integrations and ensure seamless data flow between systems
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cucumber and other relevant tools
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on architecture, design, and delivery
Identify opportunities for automation and continuously improve system reliability and efficiency
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies
Qualification
Required
6 to 10yrs of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development
Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Vert.X framework
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
Experience in Python scripting for automation and tooling
Hands-on experience with Cucumber or similar test automation frameworks
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly automate manual processes
Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and collaboration abilities
Must be available to work Monday to Friday
