Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain the athletic fields for Foley High School. This includes lining with a robotic painter, topdressing, aerifying, fertilizing, and pest/weed control
Works as a liaison to schools for fields, event organizers for events, and public for sand courts
Maintain the field and grounds at Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fisherman’s Market. This includes mowing with a pull-behind mower, string trimming, light repairs, irrigation, and flower bed maintenance
Maintain the sand volleyball complex. This includes daily upkeep of the facility including nets, courts, sand, and surrounding area. Sand will need to be tilled occasionally
Maintain the pickleball courts. This includes blowing off courts, maintaining net heights, and removing garbage
Operates robotic painters requiring calculations, field and court layouts, and irrigation repairs
Supports Foley Sports Tourism events when required
Utilizes and/or operates a variety of equipment and/or machinery to include tractors, sprayers, top dressers, tillers, etc
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or its equivalent
Two (2) years of experience in a job related field
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Valid Driver's License

The employees’ health, vision, hearing and dental premiums are paid in full by the City.
The City pays 50% of family coverage.
The employee cost for family health, vision and hearing is $67.47 per semi-monthly deduction cycle and dental is $10.00 per semi-monthly deduction cycle.
The total monthly cost for family health and dental coverage is $154.94.
