Project Management Intern

Responsibilities

Create and maintain project schedules, task lists, and milestone trackers
Help coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting notes and action items
Track project progress, update status reports, and flag potential delays or risks to the project manager
Support documentation efforts such as project charters, status reports, risk logs, and process workflows
Coordinate communication between team members and stakeholders (e.g., sending reminders, status updates, and follow ups)
Assist with data entry, reporting, and basic analysis to monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Help organize and maintain project folders, templates, and shared drives to ensure information is up to date and easily accessible
Participate in project planning sessions and contribute ideas for improving processes and tools

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar)
Basic understanding of project management concepts (scope, schedule, budget, risks) is a plus but not required
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred

Familiarity with project management frameworks or methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
Experience using collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Google Workspace
Comfort working with spreadsheets for tracking tasks, budgets, or timelines
Basic analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends or issues
Proactive mindset with a willingness to ask questions and learn new tools quickly
Interest in technology, operations, or product development
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle constructive feedback professionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
Current or existing Interim or Secret Clearance
