Court Coordinator
The N.C. Department of Information Technology is part of the Judicial Branch, seeking a highly qualified individual for the Court Coordinator position. Information Technology & Services
Responsibilities
Track status of cases and resolve scheduling conflicts
Prepare and distribute court calendars
Assist judges in drafting and preparing orders
Track case filing and disposition data
Prepare reports and various legal documents
Prepare a variety of materials including correspondence and assist with legal research
Coordinate and facilitate meetings
Provide support services to other programs in Superior Court such as Family Court, Jury Management, etc
Interact with the public answering inquiries
Secure and provide information
Serve on committees as designated; and provide daily administrative support to the Superior Court Judges
Other duties as assigned by the Court Manager or Senior Resident Superior Court Judge
Qualification
Required
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in court administration, criminal justice, public administration, business, or a related field
One year of experience in the court system to acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work described
Knowledge of court system and legal office practices and procedures
