Vice President, Environmental National Energy Growth Leader

Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of a go-to-market strategy for the environmental energy sector including detailed submarket capture strategies
Meet Year 1 sales targets
Identify $5-10M in viable opportunities in Oil/Gas Transmission
Identify $2-4M in opportunities in Electrical Transmission
Identify $1-2M in Renewables
Build and manage a team of 2-5 high-performing seller-doers
Identify and recruit strategic hires with a focus on geographic and technical expertise to reflect emerging market needs as well as client relationships
Identify and manage strategic teaming partnerships to capture additional market share
Leverage planning/permitting and construction management capabilities into the renewables market, cognizant of the current policy headwinds
Work with internal client facing teams to identify opportunities to move away from single service selling by combining more full project life cycle offerings (early to late-stage development engineering and environmental, remediation, compliance, etc.)
Foster seller/doer culture in portfolio to maximize revenue potential of existing MSAs and identify new client MSAs to pursue and grow sales pipeline
Support the successful delivery of client projects as Project Executive, Director, or Key Account Manager
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and deliver monthly forecasts with 90% accuracy
Develop a sustainable sales pipeline of both near-term book/burn opportunities as well as larger multi-year revenue generating opportunities to support staff workload balancing
Collaborate with operations, technical, and business development teams to align resources and deliver integrated solutions
Support staff development and mentoring to increase sales acumen of client facing team
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Represent the firm in industry forums, client engagements, and strategic pursuits

Required

15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong background in advanced technology or energy markets
Proven track record of business development and revenue growth in a leadership role
Experience building and managing high-performing teams
Strong client relationship skills and ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary pursuits and projects
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Travel up to 40% of the time
