Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of multiple engineering projects for client representatives and senior project managers
Assist with client representation, including public meeting attendance
Supervise department staff assigned projects
Prepare evaluations of existing and proposed facilities to identify improvement alternatives, including project costing
Supervise the preparation of plans and specifications, permitting, bidding, and construction administration for capital projects
Sewer system condition evaluations include televising sewers
Coordinating with contractors and client staff
Act 537 Plans
Chapter 94 Reports
Review of proposed land development projects
Assisting with QA/QC for design reviews
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent
Registration as a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania is required
15+ years of experience with water/wastewater engineering, including: New infrastructure and Rehabilitation of existing infrastructure for: Sewer collection, Conveyance, Pump stations and treatment, Water supply: Treatment, Transmission, Storage, Pumping, Distribution
Experience working with local and state agencies including PADEP
Progressive experience working directly with clients and managing all aspects of projects
Excellent communication, project management, and client relation skills
Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for understanding and adhering to contractual requirements
Preferred
Preparation of Act 537 Plans is a plus
Some AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus
