Responsibilities

Leadership: Direct QA and food safety teams; foster accountability and compliance culture
Food Safety Management: Oversee HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, audits, and corrective/preventive actions
Quality Assurance: Establish product standards, monitor metrics, conduct audits, and ensure consistency
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain documentation, traceability, recall readiness, and respond to findings
Training: Develop and oversee staff training on food safety and QA protocols
Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements, support innovation, and enhance efficiency

Required

Bachelor's in Food Science, Poultry/Animal Science, Microbiology, or related field
10+ years in food manufacturing QA, 5+ in leadership
Expertise in USDA, FSIS, HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and regulatory compliance
Certified HACCP Practitioner; proven audit and QA program management experience
Strong leadership, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis skills

Preferred

Experience in poultry processing operations
SQF Practitioner or PCQI certification
Background in GFSI systems, Lean/Six Sigma, automation, and SPC
