Responsibilities

Administers, monitors, and maintains the campus network infrastructure that provides network connectivity to New York Presbyterian BMH Hospital staff, visitors, and residents

Qualification

CCNA-level masteryCisco Networking hardwareArista Networking hardwareOSI model knowledgeNetwork infrastructure supportTCP/IP knowledgeICMP knowledgeSNMP knowledgeEthernet knowledgeSTP knowledgeBachelor’s degreeSoft skills

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2 or more years support experience for network infrastructure products
Thorough working knowledge of OSI model and the interaction between the layers
Must be familiar with protocols and technologies including ICMP, SNMP, and TCP/IP, Ethernet, STP

Preferred

CCNA-level mastery of STP, TCP, UDP, HSRP/VRRP, Ethernet, Multicast
Experience with Cisco and Arista Networking hardware
Experience with Cisco or Aruba wireless infrastructure
