Account Executive
Framework is assisting Orlo, a leading digital engagement platform for the public sector, in hiring Account Executives as they expand in the United States. The role involves driving revenue by identifying and closing new business opportunities within government agencies, managing the full sales cycle, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the product offering.
Responsibilities
Drive Revenue: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within US local and state government agencies
Strategic Prospecting: Build a robust pipeline through a mix of outbound outreach, networking at industry events, and following up on marketing-generated leads
Expert Demonstrations: Conduct high-impact virtual and (occasionally) in-person demonstrations of the Orlo platform, tailoring the value proposition to the specific needs of public sector stakeholders
Navigate Procurement: Manage complex government buying cycles, including navigating RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFIs, and various purchasing frameworks
Collaborate: Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to share feedback from the US market to help shape our regional roadmap
Forecast Accuracy: Maintain an organized CRM (HubSpot) and provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in government sales
Strong cultural fit (bold, aggressive, curious, hard worker, be focused)
Passionate about the Public Sector / govt space
Able to build trust with customers
2–4 years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales
A track record of selling technology specifically to government agencies (Local, State, or Federal)
Understanding of the 'public sector pace' and the nuances of government budgets
Comfortable with the ambiguity of an expanding territory
Drive to build a book of business from the ground up
Exceptional presentation and writing skills
Ability to explain complex technical features in a way that resonates with non-technical public sector leaders
Ability to be based anywhere in the US
Discipline in managing your own schedule and territory
Proficiency with modern sales stacks (CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach/Salesloft)
Preferred
Familiarity with social media management or CX (Customer Experience) software
