Digital Music Production Instructor (Part Time, After School, In-Person)
Concorde Education is seeking a Digital Music Production Instructor to facilitate a short-format after-school enrichment course for students. This role involves teaching students the fundamentals of music production using digital audio workstations, while fostering creativity and collaboration skills in a safe and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
Deliver a 10-session course with clear objectives and engaging, hands-on instruction
Teach students how to create and refine original music projects using the site’s available DAW platform
Provide structured demonstrations and scaffolds for beginners while extending advanced learners
Maintain a safe, inclusive environment that supports creativity, collaboration, and respectful critique
Support students with basic troubleshooting (logins, headphones, track setup, exporting) within the scope of site tech expectations
Communicate professionally with site staff and Concorde program contacts regarding attendance and session completion tracking
Adapt pacing and activities to match student readiness and available technology while maintaining course outcomes
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 60 college credits (or Associate degree in progress/completed)
Demonstrated experience with at least one DAW: BandLab, Soundtrap, GarageBand, or similar
Comfort teaching foundational music production concepts to beginners
Experience working with school-age students in structured settings (school, camp, after-school, tutoring, youth programs)
Strong facilitation skills, clear communication, and comfort leading creative project-based instruction
Reliable, punctual, and professional; able to follow school policies and program boundaries
Comfort supporting students on Chromebooks, iPads, or school-issued devices, depending on the site setup
