Responsibilities
Assisting with the Music + Market Thursday Evening Events
Assisting with BR&E visits
Reviewing zoning permits
Reviewing development plans
Research on City Code amendments
Drafting memos for EDA, Planning Commission, and Council meetings
Attending meetings and presenting memos
Working with Industrial Park sales within the City’s Industrial Park
Participation in assessing the redevelopment potential of properties
Assistance in Historic Preservation activities
Perform and update the Downtown Parking Study
Participate in the Leading Interns Network and Knowledge (LINK) Program
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's license
Pursuing or a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Economic Development, Planning, Administration, Urban Studies, or a related program
Preferred
Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Economic Development, Planning, Administration, Urban Studies, or a related program
