Outside Sales Representative

TRIARC TANK is a company that has been providing high quality steel pressure vessels since 1933, primarily serving the energy and agricultural markets. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow their business throughout the Midwest by selling their products and services B2B to direct propane marketers and tank distributors.

Responsibilities

Represents the company to the customer in all sales and customer relationship-oriented activities including quoting and order entry
Maintain and strengthen customer relationships while actively seeking opportunities resulting in overall sales growth
Target customer needs and present value add solutions to support key decision makers and customer employees
Serve as the primary company liaison within the assigned territory while building commercial relationships with key customer personnel and functional leaders
Monitor market conditions to promote data driven decisions leading to the growth of market share & customer value add within the assigned market
Actively engage and participate in customer visits, trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to represent and grow the TRIARC TANK organization & brand
Identify leads, prospects, set appointments (virtual & in-person), make effective/high impact sales calls, & manage the complete sales cycle
Assist customers with purchasing activities, inventory projections, market analysis, and current lead times
Proactively coordinate and clearly communicate order status updates to customers while working closely with manufacturing, operations, & distribution/logistics teams
Develop key customer purchasing trends in territory to maintain target to forecast and overall business monthly/quarterly/annual goals
Present weekly sales bookings/backlog/billings & customer activities supported by quantitative and qualitative documentation
Develop actionable countermeasures to overcome individual gaps in sales
Maintain strong core product knowledge and competitive intel to assist with actionable plans leading to success of the commercial goals
Maintain customer pipeline development & management
Completes other special projects leading to the success of the business

Required

Proficient with pipeline management, sales management software & CRM
Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
Support of other outside sales representatives' territory if/when needed

Preferred

Knowledge of pressure vessels and/or LPG industry
Proven experience as a sales representative in the industry
