Engineering Supervisor - Maintenance of Line
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Engineering Supervisor - Maintenance of Line to support the development and implementation of standardized product designs and assembly processes. The role involves troubleshooting design-related issues, guiding teams, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities
Product line engineering liason for all plants and satellites
Support manufacturing facilities with product-related codes and standards (UL, NEC, CSA, NEMA, CANENA) expertise
Oversee prompt replies for all plant requests and ensure that best practices are consistently applied and maintained
Develop a system for tracking plant requests and technical related questions
Provide product line support for vendors, customers, sales, and manufacturing
Support product line engineering processes for activities such as, change requests and design deviations
Support business objectives / improvements impacting product line-wide performance
Identify opportunities that enhance business performance through CI activities
Assist in bi-annual competitor analysis of product features and capabilities
Monitor and review product warranty and service history trends. Support root cause analysis on recurring issues. Coordinate communications with satellites, main plants, AE’s, and product management
Coordinate and oversee tasks and activities for MOL engineers
Ensure best practices are shared between facilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum 8 years of design or engineering experience

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, electronics engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years of design experience with UL 50, UL 67, and UL 891
Certified Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
Experience with low voltage power distribution equipment
