Responsibilities
Executive Engagement: Serve as the primary technical advisor to the client’s CIO/CTO and IT Directors, translating technical concepts into business outcomes
Innovation Roadmaps: Lead the vision and roadmap for the “Restaurant of the Future,” identifying practical use cases for Generative AI, ML, automation, and intelligent store technologies
Commercial Partnership: Collaborate with sales and account leadership to shape new opportunities, lead technical pursuits, and architect solutions that expand Unisys’ strategic footprint
Architectural Leadership: Ensure that existing services and all future solution proposals align to enterprise principles and long‑term architectural direction, reducing technical debt while ensuring agility
Systems Integration: Oversee architectural designs that integrate legacy platforms with cloud-native services, ensuring restaurants remain operational and our service can be executed effectively through our technology
Risk & Compliance: Drive compliance with security and retail industry standards including PCI‑DSS, SASE patterns, and operational resilience frameworks
IoT & Edge Computing: Lead architectural strategy for IoT-enabled stores, including connected kitchen equipment, sensor-based monitoring, and real‑time edge processing
Automation Strategy: Define automation patterns across both back-office functions and in‑store physical processes to reduce restaurant down time
Infrastructure Modernization: Define resilient, high‑availability network architectures across thousands of global locations, including SD‑WAN, SASE, and 5G failover
Qualification
Required
15+ years in IT architecture, CTO advisory, or innovation leadership within Retail, QSR, or global distributed environments
Bachelor's degree in a technology field (Master's preferred)
Exceptional ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiences
Preferred
Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect) preferred
Proven success driving and winning large-scale pursuits
